Phytopharmaceutical health and personal care brand The Organic Pharmacy has created a new wellness space in the heart of Chelsea, West London. It’s in the same district as the company’s first store on King’s Road, which opened in 2002. “For the past 15 years, I wanted to relocate to Sloane Square, just to be more accessible to more people. One of the silver linings of COVID was that rents dropped massively and so we ran with that opportunity,” founder Margo Marrone tells BeautyMatter.

Combining treatment spaces with a retail concept, the brand’s aim is for “customers to switch off from the outside world, elevating their experience to feel more like they are in a gallery than a store.” That translates to clean white spaces with a touch of the brand’s trademark cyan blue on French wall panels or softly curved arches, accented with pieces by British artist David Shrigley. The bathroom space takes said concept to psychedelic heights with an optical-illusion motif covering the floors and walls, plus a clear bauble swing chair for that added wink to the 1960s.

The space also offers a Health Pod consultation area for guests. There are four treatment rooms offering services such as full-body red-light therapy, high-frequency wave therapy, and Morpheus8 rejuvenating lasers, alongside The Organic Pharmacy’s bespoke face and body preexisting offers. “I'm so excited about the new space, we are going to have some amazing treatments in there,” Marrone says. “It’s really just a beautiful experience.”
